A procedural note on sizing

For most items, 18–24M is appropriate; consider sizing up for end-of-summer wear, particularly dresses and tops, which are more forgiving of slight oversizing.

For Salt-Water Sandals specifically: kid's sizes run one full size large — order one size down from the typical fit.

For swimwear and shoes: current foot length and chest measurement are essential. Excess room compromises function.

Recommended acquisition sequence

Phase 1 — Foundation: a Frugi dress and a JoJo Maman Bébé romper to evaluate fit and feel, plus the Tu pyjamas from Sainsbury's as a budget benchmark.

Phase 2 — Functional: the JoJo sunsafe suit, a swim hat, and Salt-Water sandals via John Lewis. Order in parallel with Phase 1.
